Located in beautiful Wernersville, Pennsylvania is a comparatively low-frills rehab clinic on an estate of more than 100 acres. The Caron Foundation is reminiscent of a college campus. The Foundation’s top-flight reputation is grounded in its solid medical staff and its focus on returning to regular life after rehab. Sierra Tuscon

Since resigning from Congress last month, former U.S. Rep. Mark Foley has been a patient at a sprawling rehab center to the stars: a 160-acre campus in the Sonoran Desert north of Tucson, Ariz., where a month of therapy costs more than $40,000.Foley's lawyers confirmed Wednesday that he checked into a 30-day alcohol treatment program at Sierra Tucson on Oct. 1, two days after he left office amid reports that he exchanged sexually explicit Internet messages with former congressional pages stated Palm Beach Post.

Located at the foothills of the Santa Catalina Mountains just outside Tucson, Arizona, Sierra Tuscon provides a calm area that is welcoming to their patients. It is a treatment center for many things including: coexisting disorders, trauma & abuse, eating disorders, sexual addiction, obsessive-compulsive disorder, drug addiction, alcohol addiction, depression, anxiety/panic disorders, bipolar disorder, and pain management. The treatment center has dedicated staff members who prevent, educate, and treat addictions and behavioral disorders of all types.

Sierra Tucson has ninety-five beds available for men and women, ages eighteen and over. Each individual is assigned to one of two patient community centers. Rooms are semi-private with full beds and amenities. They are designed much like wonderful hotel rooms that are naturally comfortable. On 160 acres the facility blends into the gorgeous Sonoran landscape, which helps patients with the healing process. Extra amenities include a rock climbing wall, challenge course, yoga classes, spa, and personal trainers. The average monthly cost for a patient ranges from $41,000 to $64,855, the Web site says.

Sierra Tucson has helped over 20,000 individuals and 53,000 family members change their lives. The facility has been helping individuals and their families since 1983. It is no wonder why U.S. Rep. Mark Foley has trusted his recovery with these individuals.

The Meadows

Located in the Sonoran Desert inside Arizona, The Meadows has an excellent view of mountains along with clear skies for days. "The Meadows provides a path to personal completeness and integrity, for those seeking treatment for trauma and addictions, thus serving the individual with a lifelong recovery process"(themeadows.org). The professional staff include Pia Mellody (known and respected as the Senior Clinical Advisor) Claudia Black (Clinical Consultant and is konwn for her contemporary work with family systems and addictive disorders), John Bradshaw (Counselor, author, theologian and public speaker), Maureen Canning (Clinical Director of Dakota/Clinical Consultant for Sexual Disorder Services and has excellent experience with sexual disorders), Bessel van der Kolk (one of the world foremost authorities in the area of post-traumatic stress and related phenomena), and Peter A. Levine (Clinical Consultant).

The Meadows has two facilities one called Dakota, which is extended care for sexual recovery, and Mellody House. The Meadows Dakota facility is "Set in the peaceful atmosphere of the high desert, the Dakota extended-care facility is dedicated to treating all aspects of sexual disorders. Dakota works with clients to sustain sexual sobriety by facilitating the healing of core issues, which enhances recovery and developmental maturity"(themeadowsdakota.com). "On the other hand, the Mellody House represents the fulfillment of a longstanding goal of The Meadows to create an on-campus extended-care facility to provde ongoing care with a focus on trauma resolution. Mellody House offers upplementary treatment and care for clients who desire to augment and sfegaurd their recovery" (themeadowsmellody.com)
Celebrities have been known to go to Meadows for its secluded location. Supermodel Kate Moss entered the Meadows rehab center in September of 2005. Reportedly Moss's coke habit was the reason for her trip to the Meadows facility. When arriving her "phone was confiscated, as contact with the outside world is forbidden. Lover Pete Doherty found that out when he called, and was told to get lost. TV, mags and papers are banned, drugs and alcohol are out, and caffeine and sugar are off limits. However, group support is in, so, celeb or not, you'll probably share a room" (findarticles.com). The harsh reality of the Meadows method is that no matter who you are you will be treated the same.

Passages: The Place Where the Wealthy and Famous Go to Get Clean

"Gourmet meals, masseuses, 500-tread-count sheets, and private rooms with fireplaces and a view of one of the area's most exclusive beaches. It sounds like a high-end resort, and it is- for the rich and famous looking to kick an addiction. Called Promises Residential Treatment Center, it's the place Britney Spears is supposed to call home for the next month while she tries to grab control of a life that some say is spinning out of control" (San Diego Union-Tribute).

Britney Spears has joined the list of many famous stars including Ben Affleck, Charlie Sheen, Diana Ross and Matthew Perry who have all been through the excellent treatment program at Promises. Stars come for the best treatment and it doesn't come cheap. For a 30 day stay at Promises Residential Treatment Center it will cost you a large sum of $48,000."What kind of perks can patients expect for $1,600 a night at the 16-person facility? A personal trainer, beautician and private counseling sessions. There are no chores, but the sprawling grounds of the Mediterranean-style villa in the Santa Monica Mountains include tennis and basketball courts, two pools and horseback riding facilities" (San Diego Union-Tribute).

Promises started helping people with there problems in 1989 when they opened their first center. Besides Malibu there's also a facility in West Los Angeles and The Promises Foundation for low-income single mothers in Culver City. "With a maximum of 18 residential treatment clients at each of our two facilities, one of the keys to Promises Treatment Centers success is our size. While many other alcohol and drug treatment facilities can accept more clients, Promises stays small in order to give each person individualized care and attention, so they get the chance they need" (Promises).

Most recently, Promises, where Britney Spears was treated earlier this year, was the latest to join the growing list of subpoenas served by the attorney representing Kevin Federline as the custody battle over the exes' two young sons continues. A Promises staff member was served yesterday morning. Mark Vincent Kaplan, Kevin's attorney, confirmed to OK! that an administrative assistant at Promises was served a subpoena today.
